A Sherwood Park woman accused of helping her husband rape her teen sister has joined her man in the mang after being arrested on Monday.
The 24-year-old woman was taken to Manenberg SAPS on Monday where she was charged with the 2015 rape after her 29-year-old husband was piemped last month.
According to a police source, the victim who is now 17, came forward after four years to tell her family how the couple watched “dirty movies” and even had sex after she was raped in 2013.
The teen, who was 13 at the time, came clean after a friend she confided in threatened to tell her family the truth.
She told officers that she went to her sister’s home as they had planned to go pay accounts on the day.
She was told to put on a “nice dress” and her sister allegedly told her to sit on the bed between the couple as her husband “played a dirty movie and started kissing her” in front of his wife.
She told cops her brother-in-law penetrated her while her sister watched and she was told to go bath.
When she came out of the bathroom she found the couple having sex on the bed she had been raped on.
Police spokesperson, Mihlali Majikela, confirms the woman’s arrest and says according to reports the suspect has been charged with rape.
The couple appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for their bail application where the matter was postponed to 19 November for judgement and they were sent to Pollsmoor Prison.
