“YOUR child is my child” is the message Good Samaritan Jodie-Ann Alcock shared after helping to return an abducted boy to his mother last week.
Mother Chantel Ernstzen and son Seth were reunited after the boy was allegedly taken by two men outside a winkel near the 14-year-old’s school, Spine Road High, last Monday.

The CCFM radio station worker said that she got a very strong prompt from the Holy Spirit to help him.
She said: “I told myself, Jodie-Ann you are going to have to get out of the car to meet this boy. I got out and I walked to where he was coming to my direct. When I approached him I could see fear in his eyes.”
As she questioned where he was going to she said she was geskok, as what he told her was the last thing she expected, when he said: “Aunty, I’m lost I don’t know where I am.”
She took the boy to the Mitchells Plain police station, but the boy didn’t know his mother’s number, so they called his school to contact his mom.
Alcock adds: “When I got home, the story went viral, but when I picked him up I didn’t probe him.”
Alcock added that we need to hear good stories as there are good people out there in the world.
