A Parklands couple say they’ve been waiting SIX months for their wedding photos, which they have already paid for.
They say the photographer they booked for their wedding in April has still not delivered and is now giving them the runaround.
The 30-year-old bride, who asked to remain anonymous because she works for a high-profile employer, says she contracted Tersia Arendse from Steenberg to take the pictures on her big day after she received a “budget-friendly” quote from her.
“I saw her advertisement on Facebook and made contact. She sent me packages and I chose one. I also had to pay a R500 deposit,” says the bride.
“She was a few hours late, but still managed to take photographs of the service and the pictures at the gardens, the most important ones.”
The R4 950 package included an A2 canvas, two A4 photos, 2 A5 photos, 300 jumbo photos with a wooden box and an unlimited amount of edited high-resolution photos, as well as a 48-page landscape hardcover book filled with photos.
The bride says every time she asks about her photos, she gets excuses from Tersia.
“First she told me her car broke down and she couldn’t get to the printers. Then she told me we will be receiving the pictures in a few days.
“We had to get the pictures two weeks after the wedding, but we are yet to receive anything.”
The Daily Voice contacted Tersia, who admitted she has their pictures but hasn’t printed anything.
“I have made contact with the couple and I told them they can come fetch a flash drive with the pictures on.
“I will also pay back half of their money because I know there are no prints,” Tersia responded.
