“Police members attended to the crime scene and upon arrival on the scene the victim was taken to a medical facility in a private vehicle. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation and no arrests have been made yet.”

This follows after alleged Fancy Boys gang leader Abubaker “Bakka” Adams, who faced charges in terms of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA) including the murder of Efraim Hartnick, was freed.
Hartnick, according to the State, was killed twice on separate occasions by different mense, however the court heard that the State admitted they were unaware of the charges the accused faced. Bakka and his co-accused were set free on 21 May.
According to Daily Voice sources the hit was not on a Fancy Boys member.
