BOKEH Karaoke Bar and Lounge, one of Cape Town’s beloved nightlife spots, has officially opened its second jol, right in the heart of Claremont.
After years of late-night loyalty at the original Sea Point venue, the brand’s signature mix of cocktails, small plates, big sing-alongs, and unapologetic fun has landed in the Southern Suburbs.
And there’s a twist: Bokeh Claremont brings karaoke energy all day long, with daytime dining and bold small plates served from lunch, building into full-blown karaoke sessions by night.
Perfect for birthdays, hen nights, divorce parties, end-of-year functions, or just a lekker jol night.
Founder of Bokeh and creative director of Bokeh Creative Studio Adrian Lazarus shared his excitement about the nuwe hotspot, and said: “We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had such loyal support from our Sea Point community.
“This second venue has been a long time coming. Claremont is creative, social, and constantly evolving, and we’re thrilled to bring Bokeh’s atmosphere to a whole new neighbourhood.”
The menu offers bold, flavour-packed small plates and cocktails that are dangerously easy to fall in love with.
Whether you’re arriving for a midweek lunch, an early evening catch-up, or a late-night celebration, the mood builds with one chorus, one cocktail, one unexpected duet at a time.
Follow the glow of the disco ball, grypie mic, and give into the kind of energy that turns ordinary evenings into unforgettable ones.
