Watch out Miss South Africa because little Jessie Jansen has been crowned Mini Miss South Africa 2025, Mini Miss Universal SA 2025 and Mini Miss Western Cape 2025 at the Miss and Mr Junior SA Pageant.
The four-year-old from Blackheath also scooped 42 awards at the Pageant Festival in Johannesburg with 20 being special awards last weekend.
Jessie says she loves being on a ramp.
The little beauty queen says: “My name is Jessie Jansen, I am four years old, I like to sing, dance and play my games. When I grow up I want to be a dancer. Thank you.”
Proud ouma Cheryl du Toit said that little Miss Jessie knows how to attract a crowd when on a ramp.
Cheryl says: “Jessie is an introvert when she is around people she doesn't know, but the minute she is on stage she is a totally different child."
"We got her into pageantry because whenever she had a dress on she had a different personality and I took a fat chance by putting her into pageantry. At her first pageant in Stellenbosch she shocked us all because she performed and walked away with R1 000.”
Jessie is involved in charity work through Cheryl’s non-profit organisation called Standiwe People Solutions.
The ouma adds: “With the national title she needs to do a lot of charity work and she is hands on. When we are doing feeding then she helps hand out food or clothes.
"She also gets invited by other organisations where she also lends a hand because that is expected of her no matter how small she is.”
