Another long weekend is upon us and as we near the end of April what better way to celebrate than with the conic Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) which is set to make an unforgettable return this Friday and Saturday at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). 

Widely celebrated as Africa’s Grandest Gathering, this year’s festival promises an even bigger and more exhilarating experience, featuring over 30 world-class artists and an exclusive world-first musical collaboration that will captivate music lovers across the globe.

The 22nd edition of the Cape Town Jazz Fest is bringing out all the best in local and international talent under one room this weekend.

The festival attracts thousands of attendees annually both in and around the world and this year’s lineup takes the theme ‘Legacy meets Tomorrow’ so die ding gaan ruk.

Kicking things off with a bang on Friday mense can look forward to performances from Black Coffee alongside Nduduzo Makhathini, Muneeb Hermans,Tkzee, DJ Kdollahz, Incognito and many more. Doors open at 5.45pm and the schedule is set to run until 01h30am.

On Saturday the fun continues as Ari Lennox, Lira, Thandiswa Mazwai, Kelvin Momo, DJ Masoodah, Kyle Shepherd Trio and many more takes the stage.

This year's addition is set to raise the bar with several exciting additions. Attendees can get ready to indulge in a food truck valley - a brand new culinary experience awaits featuring a diverse range of local and international flavours to tantalise your taste buds.

IT'S A LOVE THING AT GRANDWEST

Singer, songwriter and producer Robin Pieters proudly presents the ninth and final edition of It’s A Love Thing this Saturday at the Grand Arena in GrandWest.

Robin graced our screens with his angelic vocals during Season One of The Voice South Africa where he was a finalist and has since exploded on the music scene, making TV appearances and even making us laugh with his social media skits.

This Saturday, he offers the audience a spectacular celebration of love and music. Returning to its home at the iconic Grand Arena, this annual event has grown into one of Die Kaap se most anticipated live music experiences, bringing together 5 500 attendees for a night of unforgettable performances.

Taking the stage is the best in local talent including Andrea Fortuin, Fagrie Isaacs, Jamali, Jodi Jantjies, Paxton Fielies, Liam Hans and many more.
