The Easter long weekend is loading and the Daily Voice has just what you need to keep you entertained this passover weekend with lekker events in and around the Mother City.

The schools are closed and what better way to keep the children entertained than with some Easter fun this long weekend.

Hop over to GrandWest to enjoy a variety of fun activities for the kids, from creative crafts, to live music, bouncing bunnies, face painting and so much more all for free from Friday to Monday.

Kicking things off on Friday from 2pm, the little ones can look forward to some balloon artists, bunnies on roller skates, an Easter Bunny and a live DJ on the 1s and 2s to keep the vibes going. 

On Saturday and Sunday, activities include an Easter hat decorating, face painting, balloon artists, live DJ and Easter bunny. 

Concluding the fun on Monday is a Live DJ, Easter bunny, cookie decorating, face painter and balloon artist. 

The Magic Company at GrandWest has all the fun needed for kids and teens to enjoy, or adults looking to free their inner child.

Race a superbike, shoot some hoops, or compete in a friendly game of ice hockey.

Bring your crowd and hit a strike when you enjoy some ten-pin bowling or choose to immerse yourself in a virtual reality experience in the X Rider.

Try out the Lazer Zone, X Rider, and the newly acquired Virtual Bowling. With over 300 games, there is something for everyone and for the little ones with fun kiddies rides.

Experience an unforgettable night of music brilliance as Grammy award winning singer, songwriter and producer Lebo M and longtime collaborator Hans Zimmer bring the house down this Friday at the Grand Arena in Grandwest.

This one-night-only spectacular brings together the Grammy Award-winning icons for a historic performance, celebrating nearly 40 years of collaboration that redefined film and theatrical music.

Celebrating 20 years of circus magic the McLaren Circus is in Wynberg this weekend till 21April at the Maynardville Park, Carnival Site. South Africa’s only traditional circus presents a two hour international circus with spectacular and breathtaking animal performances and work class human acts. 

Tickets are available online between R165 to R275 with a 20% discount for tickets purchased on the McLaren Circus website.

Cabo Beach Club presents the Sunday Social. Entry is R100 and tickets are available on Quicket. The event starts at 3pm.
