Wednesday alleged killer Christopher Brown will come face to face with the mother of his murdered ex-girlfriend for the first time.
Brown, 25, is expected to enter into a plea and sentencing agreement for the rape and murder of Stacey Adams, and the murder of his ex, Thulisa Lavisa, 19.
Thulisa was found strangled under her bed in Harare in September 2015.
Brown had been arrested for Thulisa’s murder, but was let go due to a lack of evidence.
It will be the first time that Thulisa’s mother, Fundiswa Ngxengwana, 47, will see Brown.
She says her teen daughter had lived with Brown for over two years and that they had a son who is now four years old.
CHILD ‘KILLER’: Christopher Brown, 25, on trial
A relative searching for a pair of shoes under Thulisa’s bed found her body.
“I always asked to meet him, but she never wanted me to see what type of person he was,” the mother says.
“He left and asked a friend to look after the house claiming he was going to look for Thulisa, but he had already killed her.
“I will see him for the first time (today) and I am scared.”
Brown is also accused of killing little Stacey, whose half-naked body was found buried in a shallow grave next to his Wendy house in De La Rey Street, Eastridge in June last year.
Brown and Stacey’s mother, Sasha-Lee, lived together while Stacey lived with her granny opposite the road.
Brown allegedly confessed he killed Stacey out of anger after Sasha-Lee had left for a party in Delft.
He allegedly tried to sodomise the girl’s dead body, but was unable to.
