The price of 93 octane unleaded petrol (ULP) and lead replacement petrol (LRP) will drop by 69c a litre from midnight on Tuesday, the energy department has announced.
The cost of 95 octane ULP and LRP will drop by 68c, the department said in a statement on Saturday.
The wholesale price of both grades of diesel - 0.05 percent sulphur and 0.005 percent sulphur - would decrease by 60c.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would drop by 57c and the single maximum national retail price by 76c.
The maximum retail price for LP gas would drop by 91c per kg.
The drop was due to the average international product prices of petrol, diesel, and illuminating paraffin decreasing during the period under review (2 June to 29 June).
The rand also appreciated against the US dollar during the period under review, on average, when compared to the previous period, the department said.
