Police, together with neighbourhood watch teams, have found 18 packets of dagga worth R65 000 after skelms hid the stash in a bush.
On Saturday, cops and members from Kraaifontein Neighbourhood Watch searched a bushy area at Goliath Estate.
The neighbourhood watch teams from Sector 4 in Bonnie Brae, Joostenbergvlakte and Windsor Park used a sniffer dog who found 18 packets of dagga, each with a street value of R3 600.
A gas gun and stolen handbags were also found hidden in the bush.
None of the thieves or drug dealers were found.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, confirms: “A SAPS Mounted Unit, together with Neighbourhood Watch Sector 4 conducted a Visibility Operation on Saturday, 26 May and dagga was found abandoned and was handed over to Kraaifontein police.”
