The mother of three went missing on March 21 while hiking on Table Mountain.
Charlotte "Nana Yaa" Nikoi, 50, who is an associate director of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), was last seen by her family around 1pm on the Platteklip Gorge Trail.
The family, from Ghana, was in Cape Town to celebrate the couple’s wedding anniversary.
Her husband says he cannot imagine life without his wife.
“My wife, our 16-year-old daughter and I arrived in Cape Town on March 19 for a brief holiday as part of celebrating our 22nd year of marriage," he says.
“She went missing on March 21 [Human Rights Day] and has not been found since.
“My children and I cannot imagine life without her. Please, anyone who has information on her whereabouts should please come forward."
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, says: “The missing person is still being sought and the investigation continues.”
Charlotte is dark in complexion, with dark eyes, short black and grey hair and is 1.73m in height.
She was last seen wearing a big blue hat and oval shaped glasses, a cream, black and brown cardigan tied around her waist, a sleeveless black top, light blue shorts and a pair of brown sneakers.
