STOLEN: Kingston was taken from the family
The little owner of an eight-week-old Boxer puppy was left shattered after her first pet was stolen by heartless skelms.

Jada Hawyn, 8, from Colorado Park, is now appealing to the public to help find her beloved Kingston, while her parents are offering a R5 000 reward.

Mom Teri Hawyn, 32, says King- ston was stolen during a burglary at their home on Friday.

“Jada has been crying every day since Kingston was stolen. We only had him for four days and bought him for R3 000,” Teri explains.

“We are offering a R5 000 for the return of the Boxer. We won’t ask any questions or details upon his return; we just want our puppy back home.”

Teri says the skelms took little Kingston along with three flat screen TVs, a laptop and a Playstation.

PLEA: Mom Teri with Jada

“Kingston was alone at home, my mother-in-law went to the shops and they were gone for about an hour,” she says.

“Our neighbour’s daughters say a silver VW Polo stopped in front of our house, but she didn’t know what was going on. The thieves gained entry through the gate and the door by using a crowbar.”

She says their alarm did go off, and they later discovered they were burgled.

She says Jada patiently waited for the eight weeks it took to wean Kingston.

“We went to see him at the time of his birth and it was quite a build-up to finally bringing him home. Jada got so attached to him in such a short space of time.”
