Cops nabbed a man in possession of dagga worth a whopping R100 000.
The arrest was made in Manenberg, where cops found the drugs hidden in a workbench.
Constable Johnatan Filander says: “Manenberg police made a breakthrough in the fight against crime when they arrested a 47-year-old male from Tambo Village (yesterday) morning at 11.50 in possession of compressed dagga worth R100 000.”
Filander says a search of the suspect’s premises led to the discovery of 12 sealed bags of compressed dagga.
The suspect will appear in the Athlone magistrate court ones charged.
