Former Paralympian Oscar Pistorius is breaking his silence, and will give his first television interview since the night he killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
Pistorius will speak to British investigative journalist, Mark Williams-Thomas, in a special programme titled Oscar Pistorius: The Interview.
It will air on Friday, 24 June on Britain’s ITV. A SA airing date has not been announced yet.
According to ITV, Oscar will talk from his uncle’s Pretoria home as he prepares to return to jail.
He will answer some tough questions, including allegations of his abusive behaviour towards Reeva and and his use of firearms, ITV said.
His uncle, Arnold, said Oscar will not be getting paid for the interview.
The Steenkamp family declined to take part.
