The three men believed to be behind the disappearance, murder and robbery of Meghan Cremer are expected to receive their charges for trial soon.
Jeremy Sias, 27, Shiraaz Jaftha, 32, and Charles Daniels, 34, made a brief appearance at the Athlone Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The trio were informed that they would be back in court on 25 May to receive the indictment for their trial at the Cape High Court.
A trial date is yet to be decided.
Sias, 27, is facing charges of murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and defeating the ends of justice.
Daniels and Jaftha are facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle and defeating the ends of justice.
In January, the State also indicated they were waiting on DNA results.
The National Prosecuting Authority confirmed that the results are now complete.
The court heard that Sias has a pending case of theft of a motor vehicle as wells as a conviction of assault.
Daniels has a pending theft case and a previous drug conviction, while Jaftha has a previous conviction for drugs and a pending case of murder.
The trio are allegedly members of the Six Bob Gang.
Meghan’s body was found on 8 August 2019 in a Philippi farm.
