A Grassy Park mother is devastated after her son mysteriously disappeared on 18 June without a trace.

Thergel Marshall, 28, was last seen on that Tuesday during the early morning hours when he went to drop his friend’s car.

He has not been seen since and his worried mother, Melanie Marshall, is now fearing the worst.

“He was not living with me at the time and was living with a friend,” she explains.

“It is believed his friend, Jason, moved to another area and he did not go along. I know he went to drop Jason’s car at his house somewhere in Wynberg and he just disappeared since then. I just want him to come home,” Melanie says crying.

The single mom of three says she is hoping for the best for her son’s return.

Thergel is about 1.9 metres tall and has short black hair with brown eyes. He also has a tattoo of a woman on a cross on his right arm.

He was last seen wearing white takkies, ripped jeans, a black jersey, a green jacket and a navy blue peak cap.

His mother says he needs to return for the sake of his son.

“Thergel has a one-year-old son. I just want to know that my son is OK. I just want him to come back home. He has a son who needs him. Thergel, baby, mommy loves you very much and I would do anything for you to come back to us,”

Melanie cried.
