A top ANC MP has been described as “the madam from hell” by her former domestic worker.
Lumka Yengeni, the ex-wife of ANC big wig Tony Yengeni, who chairs Parliament’s portfolio committee on labour, was taken to the CCMA by Lucia Dlephu who has accused her former boss of flouting several labour laws.
The MP, the self-appointed champion for workers’ rights, last year slammed employers for exploiting workers.
The CCMA ruled in favour of Lucia, who reached an out-of-court settlement with Yengeni.
The Democratic Alliance has called on Yengeni to be fired.
