Four people were killed in a car crash in the early hours of Monday morning.
The crash occurred at about 2am on the elevated freeway in Cape Town when two vehicles collided.
One of the vehicles burned out. Two adults and two children died.
The City Of Cape Town’s Traffic services Richard Bosman said: “We had four fatalities on the elevated freeway outgoing linked to FW de Klerk Boulevard. We are uncertain at this time how the incident occurred.”

Seven people died on the city’s roads over the weekend. Bosman urged motorists to be extra cautious.
