The case of Levonna Jacobs accused of killing her aunt and niece and then burying them in their backyard in 2015 was postponed on Monday in the Western Cape high court.
Levonna Jacobs, 38, is accused of killing Rowena Jacobs, 26, and her mother Virna Jacobs, 47, so that she could take ownership of her uncle Donovan Jacobs’ home in Seringue Avenue in Delft-South.
Jacobs did not appear in court after she was rushed to Karl Bremmer Hospital in Parow after an operation wound turned septic.
On 23 April, Jacobs underwent surgery relating to her stomach after she constantly complained about stomach pain and severe menstrual pains.
The trial will resume on Monday, May 14, for Jacobs to recuperate and appear before the court.
