Zanu-PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa has been sworn in as the Zimbabwe’s second president.
He replaces former president Robert Mugabe, who was ousted in a
military-backed coup in November last year after 37 years in power.
Mugabe himself did not attend the inauguration at the giant Chinese-built National Sports Stadium on Sunday, and instead sent his daughter Bona and her husband Simba Chikore to stand in for him.
