Grassy Park police is on the hunt for a heartless skelm who robbed a Parkwood mom inside her home shortly after she returned from taking her children to school.
Station commander, Colonel Dawood Laing, has released an identikit of the suspected skelm after the woman reported her ordeal to police.
He says the house robbery occurred on 29 April.
“It was in the morning when she came home from dropping her children at school.
“As she walked in the door of her home in Ivy Road, there were three coloured males behind her and they forced their way into the house.
“The victim did not see a weapon but was scared of the men as they held her hostage in her house as they ransacked the house.”
Laing says the skelms took her bank card and demanded her pin, clothing and shoes.
ADVICE: Col. Dawood Laing
“They wanted to take the TV but the one suspect told the other that walking around with a TV would make them look suspicious and so they dropped it and left it and fled the scene.
“In a situation like this, it is important for the victims to not threaten or challenge the perpetrators. They must try to get as much information as possible without posing a threat.”
One skelm is described as a coloured man between the ages of 19 and 23, dark of complexion with scars and acne all over his face.
If you spot this man, call Sergeant Vuyo Gumenke on 021 700 3950 or
