KITTED: Fisantekraal kids happy with their gifts of clothes KITTED: Fisantekraal kids happy with their gifts of clothes
More than 100 underprivileged children from a Fisantekraal school were blessed over the weekend when the organisation Party With A Purpose Productions (PPP) arrived with gifts.
The organisation’s Kit-A-Kid for School project has been running with various organisations coming on board to raise funds to help kids across the Cape Flats with the bare essentials in their winter school drive.
This year, the PPP’s Chad Abrahams and his team decided on the Trevor Manuel Primary School in Sierra Street, Fisantekraal.
There were smiles all around as the children each received a raincoat, beanie, scarf and gloves.
There was also entertainment and an art class and the happy laaities got to draw, dance, play games and enjoy a festive atmosphere under the watchful eyes of their teachers and members of the PPP.

Abrahams said he was very happy that they were able to bring some joy to the children from the school, adding that it wasn’t even a problem getting the laaities to school on a Saturday.
“We are pleased to have been able to assist the children on Saturday. The event was well-organised and months of collections and getting everything ready for the team came to a good end. Children who need it the most are able to benefit from the work we put in. We love what we do and hope every year to be able to do more for our
communities.”
