Cops say they’ve nabbed a gang leader for contravening his bail conditions.
Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana says the skollie and another suspect were pulled over and arrested.
She says the two suspects, aged 29 and 37, were caught in Angela Road in Bishop Lavis.
“One of the suspects, the 37-year-old man, is known to SAPS members. He is the leader of a local gang and his present bail condition prohibits him to be in the Bishop Lavis precinct,” said Rwexana.
“He was arrested for the contravention of his bail condition. His passenger, a 29-year-old man, was found in possession of a firearm without a licence.”
The duo will appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate's Court on Monday.
