JURY selection for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial has been “starstruck” as the court looks to finalise the bench ahead of Monday’s scheduled start.
Since the beginning of the selection process at the start of this week, Judge Arun Subramanian has reportedly whittled a vrag potential jurors down 32 as he looks for the final 12.
The process is set to be finalised today.
Mense have been screened for any possible bias.
And they have been asking them all types of questions regarding other grootnaam Hollywood A-listers.
According to CNN, they have been asked to review a list of people and places that may be referenced during the trial.
Actor and producer Michael B. Jordan, rapper Kid Cudi, comedian Mike Myers, rapper Yung Miami, Kanye West and Combs’ former girlfriend Cassie Ventura were among several celebrities whose names were said in court during jury selection on Monday.
Mense with any biases towards these stars will also be cut from the bench.
While these stars are not set to testify in the trial - except for Cassie - their part in the story will be mentioned.
In Kid Cudi’s case, Cassie is set to tell the court of how, in 2011, she and the rapper had a brief relationship during a “rough patch” with Diddy.
When Combs found out, he threatened to blow up the star’s car and and that was “around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway”.
Diddy allegedly also threatened Jordan after he and Cassie spent New Year’s Eve 2015 together.
