The Hollywood star and UN messenger for Peace was in Pietermaritzberg joining an NGO to teach kids about HIV and sex.
The Benoni star said when she first joined in a sex education lesson in 2007 “nobody asked anything”.
“The idea of raising your hand and asking questions about sex in front of your peers was just something that was never heard of,” she said.
But talking about sex and health was becoming “cool” among teenagers.
