A homeless man in Milnerton was arrested on Monday after he was caught cultivating dagga.
The 37-year-old man and his 39-year-old friend were caught by Crime Watch SA officers in Sunset Beach.
According to a report by Crime Watch, at 12:15pm, armed response supervisor André Gordon was patrolling around Sunset Beach and he noticed activity at a vacant building site.
“He requested backup and operations manager Ricardo Carelse, security co-ordinator Rashaad Hendricks and armed response officer Riaco Dumas responded. They searched the property and found a male and a female were growing cannabis on the vacant site,” Gordon explains.
