Christopher Brown, accused of murdering his former girlfriend and raping and killing six-year-old Stacey Adams from Mitchells Plain has been sentenced to four life terms behind bars at the Cape High Court this morning.
Brown, 25, entered into a plea and sentencing agreement with the State, admitting that in August 2015, he had assaulted his girlfriend at the time, Thulisa Lavisa, 19, by beating her in the face with his fists at the home he shared with her in Khayelitsha.
He further admitted he strangled Thulisa to death in their Mandela Park home in September 2015.
He received six months for the assault and a life sentence for the murder.
Brown then admitted that he also raped his girlfriend’s daughter, Stacey Adams, in June 2018 in Tafelsig.
He raped the child both anally and vaginally, for which he received two life terms.
He confessed to strangling the litle girl to death and was sentenced to life for the murder.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting his brother Lee Roy Brown on the day Stacey was killed to prevent him from entering the wendy house where the murder took place.
For this he received three months behind bars.
