Ward councillor of Bonteheuwel Angus McKenzie says: “I do not want to comment on gang-related shootings especially where they have terrorised communities.
“I am only interested in the fact when community members can send us valuable information so we can arrest these types of individuals and put them behind bars.
“It is sad that another young person has lost their life.
“However if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword.”
On 28 February, Celeste had dedicated a Facebook post to Petula Williams: “So so hard to believe missing u already Petula!!!,” she posted.

Petula was sitting in her yard with her two-year-old daughter on her lap when she was shot by a gunman wearing a black salaah top.
Residents claimed Chop’s gang was at war with the Hard Livings gang. Petula’s family declined to comment on whether this may be the motive behind her murder.
