A Valhalla Park woman’s visit to her boyfriend turned into a nightmare when his brother allegedly raped her.
The woman, 27, says: “I took an Uber on Saturday evening to go to my boyfriend in Hanover Park and when I got there, my boyfriend was fighting with his older brother.
“He hit my boyfriend and since he was bleeding, my boyfriend went out to look for help.”
She says this is when his brother allegedly saw an opportunity to rape her.
“He took out a knife and told me to go to the back and when we got to the garage, he hit my head against the wall and pushed me to the floor.
“He forcefully pulled down my pants and started raping me and had the knife against the back of my neck and told me if I screamed he will stab me to death,” she says.
She says his mother was in the other room but could not help her as she too was injured after she tried to break up the fight and the brother roughly pushed her.
“When he was finished, he laughed and said he wanted to teach my boyfriend a lesson.
“He then boiled water and poured it into a bathtub before putting his fingers on me, saying he was cleaning me,” the traumatised woman says.
She’s now living in fear as her attacker has not been arrested yet.
Police spokesperson Mihlali Majikela confirms a case of rape is being investigated by Nyanga FCS Unit with no arrests.
