Arrest in cop’s death

Cops have made an arrest after the body of a 29-year-old policewoman was found in Malgas camp, Mfuleni.
Spokesperson Novela Potelwa says the officer worked at Samora Machel SAPS. It is understood she had been out with someone, visiting friends in the area.
“A 30-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested by Mfuleni police.”
Potelwa added that the Hawks are investigating the circumstances which led to the woman’s death “including the possibility that she was raped”.
