A third member of the Fancy Boys gang has been busted for gang-raping a young dad and forcefully tattooing gang tjappies on his hand.
As the investigation into the horrific rape continues, police have revealed that the 24-year-old was busted on Friday while detectives were tracing suspects in the area.
Earlier this month, the traumatised 25-year-old victim went to Manenberg SAPS where he told cops how the skollies forced him into a flat at Patricia Court and repeatedly sodomised him.
Residents, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Daily Voice that as the gang tries to claim turf in Heideveld, they have started forcing young men and boys to join the gang.
“The Fancy Boys run a pella pos in that flat and they recently all became Fancy Boys but they were Americans first,” a resident says.
A week later, cops arrested the first suspect who was jailed after appearing at Wynberg Magistrates’ Court.
He was soon joined by another suspect who was also locked up.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Andre Traut, confirms that a third person has been arrested: “This office can confirm that a third suspect has been arrested for a rape case at Manenberg SAPS.
“The suspect is 24 years old and his court appearance is [today].
“The first two will be appearing for bail application on 10 November Wynberg Magistrates’ Court.”
