Authorities have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of the body of Shanice Rudolph, a 23-year-old pregnant woman, buried in a shallow grave at Klip Road Cemetery in Grassy Park.

POLICE have confirmed that the body of a four-month pregnant woman was found buried in a shallow grave at Klip Road Cemetery in Grassy Park on Tuesday, with a 42-year-old man arrested for the murder.
The man, who is believed to be the woman's boyfriend, is expected to make an appearance in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court soon on a charge of murder.
The woman has been identified as Shanice Chante Rudolph, 23, who mysteriously vanished last week.
The young woman was last seen alive in Ouboet Street in Cafda, Retreat between 4 and 5 December.
Police were called to Klip Road Cemetery on 9 December, after the shallow grave was discovered.
It is further alleged that the body had been buried on top of another corpse, but authorities have yet to confirm this.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC Van Wyk confirmed that Rudolph's body was discovered at the graveyard.
He reported: "Grassy Park police registered a murder case following the discovery of the body of a 23-year-old woman in a shallow grave, on Tuesday, December 9, at about 1.10pm at Klip Road cemetery."

"She was reported as missing on December 5 at Steenberg SAPS. The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. This case will be transferred to Steenberg SAPS for further investigation.
"A 42-year-old suspect was arrested for murder and will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court once charged."
It is understood SAPS cordoned off the cemetery and carried out an excavation process in order to get to the grave.
