RAPPER and reality TV star Nadia Nakai has postponed the release of her nuwe nommer Really because of today’s Women for Change GBV shutdown.
The song, featuring Nasty C, was supposed to be released vandag, but Nakai wysed on a post on Instagram: “I was supposed to drop a new song, Really, featuring Nasty C, on the 21 of November.
“This date was chosen a couple months ago, but I’m going to move my release date for obvious reasons.
“If you don’t know, just check my profile picture and what I stand for. We as women are not working on Friday. So the song will be released on November 28.
Now quarter to December watch out for that.”
She added: “I also cancelled my gigs on Friday. Enough’s enough.”
The song is positioned as her musical response to those who have had plenty to say about her personal life and public image.
Nakai has been at the centre of online conversations for months, with fans and critics often scrutinising her lifestyle, relationships and image.
She has faced judgment for her interactions with married men, her revealing social media posts and her outspoken personality on the reality show “Young, Famous & African”.
Recently, a moment from her own show, “Beyond Bragga”, sparked controversy.
During a prank call segment, Nakai phoned producer Zakes Bantwini asking for money, which some viewers felt was inappropriate and disrespectful toward his wife, Nandi Madida.
The incident quickly spread across social media, drawing mixed reactions and reigniting debates about Nakai’s behaviour.
