HELP FIND MISSING VROU

Bellville police are seeking the assistance of the public to locate missing Tiffany Carollissen.

According to the cops, the 31-year-old who was last seen on Saturday, 9 August 2025, at the bus terminus in Bellville.

SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said: “At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a brown jacket, blue tracksuit pants and purple Nike running shoes.

“Anyone with any information who can assist in locating Tiffany or who knows her whereabouts is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer detective Sergeant Juvan Thomas 061 589 9001 on or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.”

According to a missing person’s poster by activists Warrior Squad, the vrou from Ravensmead confirmed that she was going out with friends on Saturday evening.

In a separate alert from SAPS, they reported the members had cracked down on skelms, seizing two illegal firearms. 

Delft cops arrested a suspect for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Monday.

According to Twigg, SAPS members noticed a suspicious looking vehicle in Erongo Street, N2 Gateway and found a 9mm pistol with 16 rounds of ammunition after a stop-and-search.

A 25-year-old male was arrested for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

In an unrelated matter, the Steenberg Crime Prevention Unit arrested a 25-year-old suspect with a 9mm pistol with ammunition in his possession.

The suspects are due to appear in the Bellville and Wynberg Magistrates court once they have been charged.
