If there’s a will, there’s a way.
That’s what August Alsina experienced as actor Will Smith apparently gave his blessing to the R&B singer to have an affair with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
August dropped the bombshell in The Interview on YouTube on Tuesday that he and the 48-year-old actress have been jolling for years.
Last year, Jada - who has children Jaden, 21, and Willow, 19, with Will, 51, - admitted she and Will no longer celebrate their wedding anniversary because their marriage has changed over the years.
The singer was introduced to Jada back in 2015 by her son Jaden when they were in London.
August attended the 2017 BET Awards with Jada and even went on holiday with the Smiths in 2016.
Now, August has let the cat out of the bag in an interview with radio host Angela Yee.
He says: “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership he gave me his blessing.
OPEN MARRIAGE: Jada and Will
“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her.
The No Love singer says he is ready to die after falling in love with Jada.
“I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it - so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
“And I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what that feels like - and some people never get that in this lifetime.
“Walking away from it butchered me It almost killed me. Not almost. It did-it pushed me into being another person It broke me down It probably will be the hardest thing I ever had to experience,” he said.
According to Page Six, Jada Pinkett’s spokesperson has slammed the claims as “absolutely not true,” while Will has not responded to the claims.
