Songbird Paxton Fielies is spreading her wings and the Idols SA 2017 winner released her latest song with music video on Wednesday.
The Bishop Lavis meisie says she is excited about her new single called Kiss the Haze and which has “a lot of new flavour.”
Paxton, 18, teams up with Tresor on the song, taken from her debut album This Is Me.
The teen says performing with the award-winning singer is a “dream come true”.
“I’m so, so thankful to have met him and I really appreciate that he made time to shoot this amazing video as well,” she tells the Daily Voice.

“He’s one of the artists I highly respect in the music industry and I’m so privileged to have had the opportunity to collaborate with him.”
“I wanted to work with artists that have a unique sound and who are authentic in their own way, it’s interesting having to adjust to their sound and their way of singing,” she explains.
“I think the two of us combined worked out perfectly, which is weird because we’re so different and I think that’s the beauty of this collaboration.”
Tresor wrote the song and approached Paxton to sing it, but did not have any intention of joining her initially.
He says the song is about allowing yourself to fall in love and enjoying the moment.
“It was great working with Paxton and I am glad she recorded this song and invited me to feature on it,” says Tresor.
“She is very talented and disciplined, and I wish her the very best with this record.”
The music video was shot in a pool hall and beat reminds you of a chilled out Sunday afternoon drive.
