Youth Month ended with June, but youngsters need a voice all year round.
And that’s why local artists will be hosting a special youth show this weekend.
4 Youth We Stream is a collaboration between young established musicians who are quickly adapting to their “new normal” of live-streaming concerts due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The show will include four artists -Tashreeq de Villiers, Ashur Petersen, Mo George and Austin Rose.
Organiser Mujahid George says he drew inspiration for this show from an event he had hosted recently.
“After my recent online success with the show I did with Alistair Izobel and Loukmaan Adams called “The Realness”, I thought of a way that I could help the rising stars of the future.
“The Youth in Entertainment has decided to come together to make their voices count.
“The entertainment industry as you already know is in a difficult situation. So we turn to the public and ask for their help by supporting our initiative in these tough times.”
