Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Miss South Africa 2020 Top 15 pageants.
This year, only two Capetonians - Jordan van der Vyver and Savannah Schutzler - will be flying the flag for the city.
Other semifinalists include: Anarzade Omar (Gauteng), Busisiwe Mmotla (Gauteng), Melissa Nayimuli (Eastern Cape), Karishma Ramdev (KZN) Aphelele Mbiyo (Eastern Cape), Natasha Joubert (Gauteng), Shudufhadzo Musida (Limpopo), Olin-Shae De La Cruz (Gauteng), Thato Mosehle (North West), Palesa Keswa (Free State), Chantelle Pretorius (Gauteng), Lebogang Mahlangu (Gauteng) and Aphelele Mbiyo (Eastern Cape).
Reigning Miss South Africa, Sasha-Lee Olivier, announced the semi-finalists vying for the Buhle crown via Instagram on Wednesday.
Jordan, 24, from Green Point is an international model who spends half the year working in the US.
The psychology student says it was because of meeting Jo-Ann Strauss that she entered the pageant.
She says: “I am truly overjoyed at being chosen as one of the Top 15!”
“I am thankful for the opportunity to further join the Miss SA Organisation in facilitating positive change.
“I have enjoyed all the tasks, videos and interviews, as well as virtually meeting everyone involved.”
Rondebosch resident Savannah Schutzler, an actress who graduated from Stellenbosch University, says she is grateful for the opportunity.
The 24-year-old says: “I am so honoured to be part of Miss SA Top 15. I am beyond excited and grateful.”

“I started this as a learning experience that freed me up to be myself; open to learning and not trying to be perfect.
“I cannot say this has been my own doing; God has blessed me with opportunities which I never thought were possible, which allows me to enjoy the journey of learning more about myself in a new world.”
Voting lines for Miss South Africa opened yesterday and closes on 16 July at 11pm.
