Late Beatles star George Harrison’s estate has slammed Donald Trump’s daughter for using his song during a Republican Party Convention.
Ivanka Trump walked onto the stage to hit Here Comes The Sun and introduced her father – who is running for the US presidency – but representatives of the late musician want nothing to do with Trump.
In a statement on Twitter, the estate commented: “The unauthorized use of #HereComestheSun at the #RNCinCLE is offensive & against the wishes of the George Harrison estate.
“If it had been Beware of Darkness, then we MAY have approved it #TrumpYourself (sic)”
It comes after Queen's estate also hit out at Trump’s decision to make his entrance to We Are The Champions without getting permission.
