The Idols SA Season 15 Theatre Week auditions are now over and the drilling begins next Sunday when the Top 16 is chosen.
The top 32 gave their best on stage on Sunday evening to gain a spot in the upcoming live shows.
This was the last time each contestant had an opportunity to show South Africa what they are made of.
The hopefuls got a chance to sing by themselves, accompanied by the Idols band.
After surviving the group round cut, the final 32 contestants half of whom are from the Western Cape delivered their solo performances.
A panel of music specialists and judges decided which songs the talents would sing.
Strandfontein’s Louise Nicolls, who sang Dua Lipa’s IDGAF, made it through.

“I’m grateful for reaching the top 32, the opportunity has been phenomenal,” she said.
“I was very proud of my performance, I didn’t know the song and it was new to me so I had to do research for this song. I’m not an R&B person, but the challenge was good.
“It was interesting with the song choices given to us.”
The final stage of Theatre Week was about getting their names out there.
This part of Theatre Week was about learning your lyrics, knowing your range and fully comprehending your singing skills and abilities as an individual.
This Sunday will reveal whose Idols journey is over and who will reach the top 16.
Viewers and fans of the show can start making their predictions on who will make the cut.
Idols SA Season 15 airs on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161 on Sundays at 5.30pm.
