The big day arrived as Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung’s much-anticipated wedding took place on Thursday. 

The happy couple shared details of their white wedding extravaganza, from a sneak peek of their wedding bands to the pre-wedding lunch for their grooms’ party. 

Taking to his Instagram page, the Idols SA judge shared videos and pictures from his hotel room suite with their full grooms’ party. 

Mohale and Somizi were in their white pyjamas while the grooms’ party was an all black affair.

My friends threw a surprise bachelors party for me yesterday (Please don’t mind my crown) 😂😂. Had so much fun, and I’m so grateful for having such cool and loving friends. ❤️ The official countdown to #Somhalewhitewedding has started. PS: I didn’t dance at all yesterday 🌚😂😂.

This couple’s traditional wedding took place September last year and the who’s who of the industry where in attendance. 

The white wedding was no different as most celebrities are said to have RSVPed for the nuptials.

The wedding took place at four venues with the main ceremony happening at Nelson Mandela Bridge in Braamfontein, and Somizi also revealed that they imported their flowers from four different countries – Colombia, Holland, Thailand and Kenya.
