RIHANNA has confirmed that she is expecting a third child - and she did it style at the Met Gala on Monday night.
The 37-year-old singer - who has sons RZA, two, and Riot, 21 months, with rapper A$AP Rocky - stepped out on the floral carpet debuting her new baby bump, after revealing in a portrait by photographer Miles Diggs that she is expecting her third child.
Rihanna arrived late to fashion’s biggest night, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The We Found Love hitmaker rocked up after the floral carpet had ended, but her partner Rocky, who co-chaired this year's Met Gala, arrived earlier in the evening.
Several reporters congratulated him after it was revealed the couple are expecting their third child together, and he replied: “It is time to just show the people what we were cooking up. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm glad everybody's happy for us because we're definitely happy.”
A$AP wore a navy suit, which he designed himself, and Christian Louboutin shoes on the Met Gala's midnight blue carpet.
Rihanna is no stranger to announcing a pregnancy on a worldwide stage. The star confirmed she was pregnant with Riot during her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Just days later, Rihanna admitted “everything changed” for the couple when they welcomed their first child into the world, but the birth of RZA made the pair “closer”.
Speaking to British Vogue magazine in February 2023, she said: “We’re best friends with a baby.
“We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship.
“Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”
While Rihanna rocked her baby bump, Madonna also sparked an internet frenzy with her fresh facial look.
The 66-year-old pop icon looked younger, with many speculating that she had her face lift reversed.
In 2023, the Material Girl was slammed for her plumped-up cheekbones and lip pout.
But on Monday night, she looked more natural, wearing an cream androgynous silk Tom Ford suit, designed by Haider Ackermann.
