Rugby fans in the northern suburbs had a lekker day of kwaai weather and good running rugby on Saturday at a local derby hosted by the Belhar Rugby Club.

The home side went up against Tygerberg RFC in their Premier League A clash, with Tygerberg scoring 69 points against 12 at Accordian Park in Belhar.

Many supporters enjoyed a braai and potjie, chop and dop on the grassy banks of the action-packed field.
