Mense opened their hearts and wallets for a good cause at the pre-Ramadaan charity drive held at Spine Road High School in Mitchells Plain at the weekend.

The annual event helps orphans and the destitute by distributing 1000 food hampers and cooking 100 pots of food during Ramadaan and on Eid ul Fitr.

Bargains hunters were lekker spoilt for choice.

For the sporty types, there was a kwaai rugby tournament.

And the petrolkoppe from Saicom displayed a variety of modified rides at the car show.
