It’s finally here, the most anticipated event for this weekend is on our doorstep.
Yas! Diva Karyn White is finally here and I know every woman, and some men, will be singing Superwoman at the top of their lungs.
Marmalade Productions never ceases to amaze us with an annual line-up of kwaai international artists for both its Divos and Divas shows.
Joining Karyn for Divas 2018 is the cream of our very own crop Paxton Fielies, Sasha Lee Davids, G&T and Rene Johnson.

The Divas 2018 tour just arrived from Joburg and will be ending off in Port Elizabeth.
Mense are in for a treat as the all-female line-up will take you on a musical journey from old school to modern times.
Karyn’s hit Superwoman made international waves, selling over a million units, being certified Gold and named the Billboard R&B Song of the Year in 1989.

The diva promises to deliver an array of fiery and soulful melodies, taking the listener back to the good old days of ’70s and ’80s music.
The show takes place at the Grand Arena in GrandWest on Saturday at 8pm.
Tickets cost R195-R300 and are available via Computicket.
If you can’t get tickets to these divas, there’s another line-up of divas in Athlone.
Returning for its 8th year, drag queen Kat Gilardi’s Divas One Night Only will be held at the Joseph Stone Auditorium on Saturday.
This year promises to be extra special as they have Betty Bangles flying in from Joburg as well as Corne Rademeyer, from Jeffrey’s Bay.
They will be joined by locals Manila von Teez, Vida Fantabisher, Angel Lalamore and many more. MCs Nathan Kayser and PJ Smith will ensure the programme will run smoothly.
Production director Barry Reid says: “We are also pleased to be supporting Al Fitrah Foundation for the evening and have them attending as our guests and supporters.”
Tickets are R150 from Computicket. Free entry to Zer021 Social Club for the Official After Party.
