Karaoke is not just fun at a party.

It’s serious business for the singers who were hoping to impress the judges at the auditions of the 4th annual Karaoke World Competition South Africa (KWCSA).

While the mense enjoyed snacks and lekker potjiekos, 15 contestants sang their hearts out at the Western Cape leg of the auditions, held at the Marion Institute hall in Woodstock last week.

The national winner will then compete among 35 countries for the grand prize in Spain in October.
