Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are now the proud parents of a little girl, and it appears their baby comes straight out of a Harry Potter fliek.
They named their firstborn Luna Simone Stephens, and some Hogwarts fans believe it’s a tribute to Ravenclaw House’s Luna Lovegood, but the couple haven’t confirmed this.
The more conventional meaning of the name is moon.
Chrissy gave birth last Thursday and little Luna weighed just over 2.7kg.
Before giving birth, the model and TV presenter promised fans she wouldn’t keep her baby out of the public eye.
Although they have yet to post a picture of their baby on social media, in between feeding and changing nappies, Chrissy has found the time to make gat.
She tweeted: “To everyone asking, John is healing perfectly.”
She later wrote: “Thank you for all the well wishes! We are so happy and excited! I dunno what to tweet now. does my twitter change? This is so awkward.”
It’s a fairytale ending for Chrissy who has battled to fall pregnant and opted to do IVF treatment.
In February, she revealed she has chosen a female embryo: “Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl’.”
The couple have been married for over three years and according to the new mommy, this could be the start of quite a big family as there are a number of embryos left.
