It's the end of the month so there is lots to see and do in the Kaap this weekend.
On Saturday night there is a variety show happening at Athlone Civic Centre and it’s perfect for the whole family.
The Fabulous Seawind Entertainers are hosting the show which features some of the Cape Flats’ top performers, including drag divas 3D, comedian Waseef Piekaan, and singers Mujahid George, Edith Plaatjies, Monox Adams and Idols finalist Lyndall Kearns.
Joining them is guitar maestro Jonathan Rubain and his band to make sure the music keeps pumping.

The Cape Town Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly event taking place this weekend and all science boffins are welcome.
From space projects to 3D printers, rockets and alles in between, there are over 60 exhibitors showing off their wares.
It’s all happening at the Cape Town Science Centre in Observatory, tickets are available at Quicket and cost R120 for adults and R30 for kids.
For a more energetic event, join the 48th annual Blisters For Bread walk in Green Point on Sunday.
There is a 5km and 10km race and all proceeds go to the Peninsula School Feeding Scheme Association.
Entries are limited to 12 000 walkers and entry fee is R50 per walker.
