On Sunday night, your favourite koerantjie had front row seats at the Live Rounds in the Mosaiek Teatro in Johannesburg, where the final two Top 8 finalists were announced.

The 1 400-seater venue was packed with excited fans, cheering for their favourites.

Caroline Brüssow, the wife of former Springbok player Heinrich Brüssow, from Bloemfontein, and Luke Lovemore from Durban were the last two singers to reach the Top 8 when they garnered the most votes in the viewers’ vote.
